Founder & CEO
Vladimir “Vlad” Gasic brings over 30 years of experience in business development, management, and analysis, with a focus on operations, change management, and information systems. His roles have included business development manager, project manager, consultant, and lead researcher.
Vladimir Gasic brings over 18 years of experience managing IT consulting businesses, specializing in finance, accounting, business law, insurance, and client consulting. He excels in creating, fixing, and growing companies. He graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s in Economics.
Dr. Andrei Gasic
Co-Founder
Andrei C. Gasic, M.D., is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Regional Clinics who offers experience in many GI procedures. Dr. Gasic is one of the few area specialists providing pediatric GI services (patients ages 6 to 18) and speaks fluent Spanish. He went into medicine because he was interested in science, and initially in research, but then gravitated to patient care. He believes the fact that he is bilingual helps him serve the Hispanic community.
In addition to standard GI procedures like upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, Dr. Gasic offers patients ERCP, which helps doctors diagnose and treat cancers of the bile duct and pancreas; radiofrequency ablation to remove Barrett’s tissue from the esophagus; minimally invasive hemorrhoidal procedures; assessment of reflux disease; evaluation of GI motility disorders; and treatment of liver diseases.
Dr. Gasic earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Following this, he pursued an internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine. Finally, he advanced his training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Yale School of Medicine.
He specializes in managing, creating, fixing, and growing companies. With expertise in finance, accounting, business law, insurance, and client consulting, he brings a well-rounded approach to business challenges. Additionally, from 1992 to 2010, he managed several IT consulting businesses, gaining extensive experience in both recruiting and client services. Furthermore, he is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business undergraduate program, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
Alexandra Gasic
NP Founder & COB
Alexandra Gasic is a recently coined Nurse Practitioner (NP) who received her education at University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) in 2024 and is now fully licensed NP in the state of Tennessee. She is currently working at Vanderbilt Healthcare as an in-patient plastic surgery Nurse Practitioner.
Alexandra delivers exceptional care in high-stress ICU environments, tailoring interventions to meet each patient’s unique needs. Her experience at Saint Thomas West and Vanderbilt Medical Center highlights her expertise with critically ill patients. She establishes rapport with patients and their families, ensuring they understand their condition, medications, and care plans.
Beyond her direct patient care responsibilities, Alexandra has also demonstrated exceptional organizational skills. Furthermore, she consistently maintains high productivity, even when managing heavy workloads. Her positive attitude and professional confidence are evident in her work, making her a responsible and compassionate patient advocate. She is also Proficient in medical technologies like Cerner and Epic, with certifications in BLS and ACLS; Alexandra’s commitment to patient care makes her a vital part of VMeDx and the medical community.
Dr. Greg Gasic
Co-Founder and Author
Dr. Gregory P. Gasic, Ph.D., has a rich academic and research background, with his most recent position being an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Houston and a Scientific Consultant in Physics & Theoretical Biology. He has held various academic appointments, including roles at Harvard Medical School and The Salk Institute. He has been a prominent figure in neuroscience and genetics research, contributing significantly to understanding neuropsychiatric diseases and the molecular-genetic basis of various conditions.
Dr. Gasic has also been involved in numerous research projects and has been a part of several professional societies, including the Society for Neuroscience and the American Society of Human Genetics. His research has spanned molecular genetics, neurobiology, and even enology, demonstrating a diverse and comprehensive expertise in various scientific domains. Currently, Dr. Gasic holds the position of Biomedical Research Advisor at the Istituto di Neuroscienze, contributing his extensive knowledge and experience to neuroscience research and practice.
